Broncorid is a unique herbal combination of drugs, which manifests Anti histaminic, anti-inflammatory, mucolytic, expectorant and bronchodilator effect. Broncorid syrup has been enriched with Shireesh Chaal, which has a Di Sodium Cromoglycate like activity.

Properties of Dabur Broncorid Syrup :

Albizzia lebbeck- Inhibits degranulation of mast cells, synthesizes reaginic type antibodies and has a pharmacological action like Disodium Cromoglycate.

Solanum xanthocarpum: Increases FEV1 by 65%, Anti allergic

Tribulus terrestris: Bronchodilator

Glycyrhiza glabra:Anti-inflammatory

Pharyngeal Demulcent

Pistacia integrrima: Expectorant

Adhatoda vasika: Bronchodilator

Mucolytic, Expectorant, Anti allergic

Indications of Dabur Broncorid Syrup :

As a prophylactic in Asthma management, Breathless and Cough associated with Bronchial Asthma, Allergic bronchitis, COPD.

Composition of Dabur Broncorid Syrup :

Each 10 ml is prepared/ derived from:

Shireesh chhal (Albizzia lebbeck) 820 mg

Kantakari (Solanum xanthocarpum) 630 mg

Gokshur (Tribulus terrestris) 630 mg

Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 450 mg

Karkatshringi (Pistacia integrrima) 180 mg

Vasaka leaves (Adhatoda vasica) 180 mg

Flavoured syrup base Q.S

Dosage of Dabur Broncorid Syrup :

Two teaspoonful (10 ml) twice a day or as directed by the physician.
